Workers' Compensation Savings--ADR SCCA founded the Alternate Dispute
Resolution Trust with Local 12 of the
Operating Engineers to help employees get
back to work sooner after a jobsite
accident. This program provides a mutually
approved panel of doctors for treatment and
representatives to help employees get
proper, timely care. The success rate for
our ADR members has helped them reduce their
workers' comp premiums by a minimum of 15%
and as much as 45%. We are also active
participants in the ADR programs of the Laborers, Carpenters, Ironworkers and Cement
Masons.

ARTBA Regional Chapter SCCA is the
Southern California state chapter of the
American Road and Transportation Builders
Association (ARTBA), the most powerful advocacy
group for improving our nation's
transportation infrastructure. We actively participate in ARTBA events in Washington D.C. and SCCA members sit on ARTBA's Board
of Directors.
|
Legislative Programs The association
maintains a highly experienced legislative
information service in the state Capitol,
acting on behalf of all members as an
advocacy resource on topics before the
California legislature and state and regional agencies.
SCCA provides this support on the local
level as well, through efforts in concert
with the Construction Industry Fund Liaison
program and our own local government
committees.

Social Opportunities for Friends & Family
SCCA sponsors several social events each
year to encourage members to mix and mingle with
their peers, including two golf tournaments

considered the top parties in the Southern
California construction industry each year.
